19 February 2009 Gig @ The Pony Over 100 people packed into the upstairs band room of The Pony last Thursday night to witness aronora's debut live performance. The night was a huge success and the amount of positive feedback has been overwhelming. 31 January 2009 Press Release - February 24 The Tote Melbourne based prog rock outfit aronora has teamed up with long serving rock band Sister Anxiety and new comers Violet Town to present a midweek night of musical exploration at the Tote on February 24th. Led by multi talented front man Benny Cameron and supported by a tight backline of polished musicians, aronora has quickly developed its own unique sound, combining brooding ambience, crunching riffs and euphonic melodies. No stranger to the live scene, Sister Anxiety are polished performers, with years of experience and a raw live sound that engages the listener from the opening note. Violet Town promises to deliver an aggressive montage of heartfelt introspective themes coupled with exceptional musicianship and potent deliverance. |

18 January 2009 Press Release - February 12 The Pony After much anticipation, February 12 will see Melbourne based progressive rock outfit aronora make their debut performance at The Pony, announcing their arrival on the national music scene. 28 December 2008 December Update
Two months after the formation of the current line-up sees aronora in a strong position to burst onto the national music scene in early 2009. The writing and jamming process has been very successful with more than a set of quality and diverse material having been created with relative ease. The band has quickly gelled together, fusing a wide variety of influences to create a unique and polished sound that will surely impress a wide variety of listeners. 23 December 2008 Home Recordings Vol 2
Recorded in under a week at both Rosstrevor Cres and Jubilee St, aronora's Home Recordings Vol 2 captures three brand new tracks covering the diverse aspects of the band's raw power and brooding ambience. Unlike its predecessor, Vol 2 has been produced in a take by take format allowing the band to more freely express their creative vision for the music and subsequently capture a more professional sound. As with Home Recordings Vol 1, Vol 2 is available in hard copy format free of charge. Recorded at Jubilee St during a regular rehearsal session, Home Recordings Vol 1 captures aronora in it's rawest environment, the songs performed in one take using only a left and right input in order to display the live sound they achieve.
